Despite deceitful campaign ads from the opposition claiming the Marriage Protection Amendment will do things it simply will not do, left-leaning PPP still finds the marriage amendment up by 14 points, the same margin as it was last week:
PPP's newest poll on the North Carolina marriage amendment shows little movement from a week ago. 55% plan to vote yes next week, while 41% are opposed.
... If the amendment ultimately passes it will have a lot to do with the fact that Republicans (76/21) are considerably more united in their support of it than Democrats (42/54) are in their opposition. Independents are split almost evenly, 48/46 in favor of the amendment.
